This exchange is made for me, and I’m so excited to see what you come up with for any of my requested characters! I’m also plutonianshores on AO3, and I have a lot of previous letters on this journal if you want to scroll through some of my previous requests.

For this exchange, I’m generally opting into multiple ships in one gift, any background ships not involving my requested characters, my LBD character/s having previous relationships or exes, breakups both in the past and during the course of the fic, any level of consent from enthusiastic consent to noncon, trans headcanons/trans portrayals of any characters, any tone from fluff to smut to angst, and any archive warning.

Nott: She is the character of my heart and I just want literally any shippy fanworks about her! For poly ships, I’m especially fond of Polynein, Nott/Yeza/other/s, and Nott/Caleb/other/s, but anything goes! I am cool with works set pre-, during-, or post-transformation. I am especially fond of the headcanon that halflings are generally poly as a cultural norm, and would love to see Veth and Yeza having some wild threesomes or moresomes pre-canon. Also, size kink! I love that Nott expresses interest in characters (e.g. Sunbreaker Ulomon) who are literally three times her size, and I’d love to see some size kink if you want to write smut. Something exploring the differences in halfling vs goblin anatomy is very welcome. And free to get xeno with the nonhuman species!

Cassandra: I loved Cassandra from the moment we met her. I am so fascinated by her life with the Briarwoods and her trauma and her work to regain the trust of Whitestone. I want to see her recovering from her fucked-up childhood and/or just being loved by any character you choose. I’m into AUs where it’s Cassandra who escapes instead of or in addition to Percy, if you’d like to set up any ships with that. I’m also very into Cassandra noncon or dubcon with any of the bad guys in canon. She’s so responsible and serious, I’d love to see her partner/s get her to loosen up. And feel free to draw from Campaign 2 or 3 characters!

The Terror

Characters: Harry D.S. Goodsir, Cornelius Hickey, John Irving

Also, for all three of these characters, I am so in love with AUs where they encounter a time warp to the present and end up in the 21st century, leading to scenes of them adjusting to modern technology and medicine and views on gay people. Also, Hickey trying to pull Hickey-typical crimes and failing miserably due to being so out of his element would be amazing.

Goodsir: I love his idealism, and also the way it is slowly crushed by the events of the show. I also love his enthusiasm about science and medicine, and his Inuktitut dictionary. AUs where Goodsir survives the expedition and recovers somewhere quiet with any other character or an OC are very welcome. For smut, I am very into Goodsir having a large theoretical/anatomical knowledge of sex, but 0 practical experience. Goodsir and one of his patients falling for each other would be great! Pre-canon is also very welcome, as are AUs where Goodsir meets one of the other crew members pre-canon. Gangbangs and gangrapes are also welcome, however spuriously justified.

Hickey: I love this horrible rat bastard with all my heart, and I would love him in anything from noncon to surprisingly tender relationships. For consensual ships, I am especially into hatesex, or dynamics where Hickey is devoted to another character, who acts as his substitute moral compass. I’m really into Hickey having skewed views of sexual dynamics, power, and what men want in bed, and how those might play into his relationships. Hickey seducing people for social status and/or blackmail purposes is also very fun! For noncon, he is equally interesting as a perpetrator or a victim.

Irving: I simply think Irving should get to be gay with someone before or instead of getting stabbed to death. Feel free to go hard on internalized homophobia if you want – I love an Irving who’s been trying to bury his own love/lust for men under climbing exercises and singing with friends. I feel like an Irving who’s able to get over his internalized homophobia could be a really sweet lover, but I’m also totally here for asshole Irving taking out his guilt on his partner (or perhaps even rapist Irving, especially with Hickey and/or Gibson). Somebody-lives AUs with Irving dealing with the physical and mental trauma of the stabbing are also really fun!

Jim: I just love them so much!! I love their backstory, I love their commitment to stabbing people, I love that they’re nonbinary and it isn’t the most interesting part of their story. A fight turned to sex (maybe with Spanish Jackie or one of the pirates), surprisingly sweet cuddling that Jim threatens their partner with death to keep hidden, Jim gets invited to join the crew’s orgies once they’re no longer in disguise? Go wild!

Stranger Things, Part I

Characters: Murray Bauman, Lucas Sinclair

• Unlikely to come up, but I headcanon Eddie as bisexual rather than gay, so please don’t include anything that explicitly contradicts him being bi (any other characters I”m good with any sexuality, including writing characters who have had m/f relationships in canon as gay)

Lucas Sinclair: First off, you absolutely do not have to read Lucas on the Line (Lucas’s tie-in novel) to write for me, but if you are enthusiastic about queer Lucas or Lucas in general you really should, because a) Lucas’s vibe in it is Incredibly Bisexual, and b) it’s got a lot of great details about the Sinclair family and Lucas’s feelings about the events of season 4. Now that I’m done chilling, I’m just so into bisexual Lucas and I would really love shipfic or art about him with a man. His whole plot about being torn between sports and nerdy hobbies would tie in well to a bisexual awakening too! (And also a polyamorous awakening if you want to do a Lucas/Max/Any Dude ship, whether as a triad or a V). Feel free to include any of the older characters and Lucas talking about sexuality and/or relationships (including any additional ships you want to throw in, I’ve got no NOTPs in this fandom!)

Murray Bauman: I am so fascinated by Murray and I am desperate for any and all m/m shipfic/art about him. Some interviews have mentioned Murray having a family and a job in Chicago that he left because he got involved in something big, and if you want to do something precanon I’d love seeing something with Murray falling for a guy who ended up being involved in an investigation (perhaps the mob or another criminal investigation?) There’s also lots of guys he’s met along the course of the show who would be great to ship him with!

Karen: All I want from life is for Karen Wheeler to have a torrid lesbian affair. Have you seen pics of Karen’s vagina necklace? This is a woman who has some suppressed or not-so-suppressed gay lust. Maybe instead of/in addition to Billy, she has a flirtation with a high school girl (Robin?) Maybe she ends up closer to Joyce in s1 than in canon, or she’s Joyce’s rebound relationship after Hopper’s death. Or anyone else you can think of! I’d also love to see an AU or post-s4 fic where Karen learns more about the Upside-Down and what’s been going on with her kids and their friends.
