Hello, AU Exchange writer/artist! I’m also plutonianshores on AO3, and I have several previous letters on this journal if you want to look back at what I’ve requested in past exchanges. I’m requesting fic and art for all fandoms.
I’m totally fine with any levels of gore in gifts, and am also fine with character death (including of requested characters). Additional background ships and combining my requested ships into poly ships are very welcome. And feel free to include any of your favorite kinks! Barring my DNWs, I am into literally everything, my biggest turnon is reading fic or seeing art with the creator’s fave kinks included. I also have no preference for top/bottom or dom/sub choices in any ships if you’re writing/drawing porn (and don’t have a preference for maledom vs femdom in het ships). Any differences in prompt length are solely down to what I have previous prompts to draw from and what I don’t, and are no indication of what I want more or less!

I headcanon Eddie as bisexual rather than gay, so I’d appreciate it if you don’t include anything that explicitly contradicts him being bi (any other characters I’m good with any sexuality, including writing characters who have had m/f relationships in canon as gay).

I’m especially fond of transfem takes on the male characters, but I will enjoy anything. I’m especially fond of characters figuring out their gender in the often-hostile environment of 80s Hawkins, and finding safety with their friends (and maybe getting to move away to a bigger city where they can start over with people who didn’t know who they were before)
- ALL: Genderswap to all female cast – can be combined with my trans AU requests or not! I just think it would be neat if Stranger Things was more female and more femslashy. For art, I really love seeing your takes on what characters would look like as women. Explorations of what about characters’ lives (and relationships, if all the canon ships are now f/f!) would change is really fun, using this as an excuse for femslash and/or more women in canon is also fun.
- ALL: Bodyswap – I am so fond of bodyswaps, especially if characters have to pretend to be each other in order to hide the bodyswap from other people. For my bigger groups, the chaos of a huge group all getting shuffled into each other’s bodies is especially fun.
- All: Changeling AU – listen, Will and Eleven are basically a changeling story already (kidnapped, parents convinced they’re dead, in Will’s case a fake body left behind). I so want to see the AU where the Upside-Down is Fairyland and instead of scientists it’s fairies taking El and Will. For Nancy/Barb – maybe in this AU Barb gets taken to Fairyland, and manages to make it home but suffers the traditional folkloric consequences of eating fairy food. And I would love to see any of the characters’ ventures into the Upside-Down reimagined through this lens!

- CritRole: Cassandra Escapes the Briarwoods Instead of Percy I would especially love to see Cassandra joining Vox Machina in a similar manner as Percy did in canon. You could give her the full guns-and-Orthax backstory (I am very weak for women with guns) or give her a different class. (You can kill Percy off or have Cassandra and Vox Machina rescue him like they did Cassandra in canon.) I just want to see Cassandra having adventures and slaying dragons!

So I’m requesting various permutations of Polynein here. Feel free to include Caduceus as much or as little as you want, given his canonical orientation (although I do enjoy an aroace Caduceus who hangs around the team orgies to occasionally lend a hand). No need to put an equal focus on every member of the ship, I just like the general “everyone in the group is dating/sleeping with/etc at least several other members of the group” with a side of “full-team orgies”.

- ALL: Multiple canonical men are actually women in disguise for Reasons – I am very into crossdressing to join the expedition! If you’re also thinking about doing an AU where characters are trans, I’m very into trans man/cis-woman-disguised-as-man ships (or trans woman/cis-woman-disguised-as-man ships!) and the different views those characters might have on gender {this is left over from last round, when I requested some trans AUs, but I’m always down for trans characters}
- ALL: Ghost Whisperers AU - With so many deaths in canon, anyone being able to talk to ghosts would be great fun. A serious take is welcome, but I also have this cracky idea where Hickey can see ghosts and ends up pestered by everyone he kills (you could also take this in a non-cracky direction, of course, but I can’t stop laughing at the idea of him angrily ignoring Irving’s and Gibson’s ghosts). Goodsir would also be a fun choice, I could see him being really dedicated to helping people pass on (maybe that’s how they figure out that Irving wasn’t actually killed by the Netsilik?)
- ALL: Pirates – I imprinted on pirates young, and I just want to see the Terror characters swashbuckling on the high seas! They’re already sailors, we’re halfway there ;) They could all be pirates, or perhaps an upstanding Navy man is taken hostage by an infamous pirate crew (but maybe finds the pirates not so fearsome as they were made out to be?)
- ALL: Resurrection Is Possible But Creates a Soul Bond – maybe Silna can resurrect people as part of her role as shaman and ends up soulbonded to one of the men, maybe weird Arctic magic somehow gives one of the characters the ability to resurrect someone by wishing, but whoops, now they’re soulbonded! (Could be especially fun with Goodsir saving someone he’s not even particularly close with, but he’s a medical man, he can’t just let them die! Or go full crack and give Goodsir a soulbond harem!) I am especially into soulbonds where the characters share pleasure/pain/thoughts
- ALL: Time Travel to the Present - I love wo/man out of time stories, and would love to see some or all of the characters making their way through some sort of time rift and ending up in the present. I’d love to see what whoever comes across them makes of them, if their presence gets announced to the world or covered up, and/or how they adapt to the 21st century.
- ALL: Bodyswap – I just love any and all takes on bodyswaps. There are some swap combos that could cause real chaos (Hickey swapping with one of the captains or lieutenants!), or some that are less overtly chaotic but would still be very awkward as the characters try to hide that it’s happened (or perhaps they don’t try to hide it)

In addition to the trilogy, I’ve read the Six of Crows duology and King of Scars, and will have finished Rule of Wolves by work reveals. Feel free to take or leave canon from any of those in additon to the Grisha trilogy!

- ALL: Genderswap to all female cast – okay, my main rationale here is that Nikolai (and Tolya and Mal) as women would be Hot, but a look at how Nikolai’s life would be different if he’d been a woman would also be very interesting! - ALL: Pirate AU – I liked the Sturmhund parts of the books and I think it would be fun to have any of these groups be All Pirates All The Time. Transplanting the series plot into a piratical plot rather than a royalty/political one would be very fun, as would just taking this as an excuse for some piratey fun times at sea!
- ALL: Weird West AU – I love Westerns, and I think a Weird West AU would be fun to see with these characters! As with the pirate AU, I’d love to see an adaptation of the Grisha trilogy plot to a Western-with-magic/etc setting, or I’d love to just see any of my requested characters as gunslingers/etc

In addition to the full group ship, for my solo Kaz I’ve never met a Kaz ship I don’t like if you want to get shippy. (I like pretty much all other ships as well if you want to include your faves!) If you’re going smut, I do prefer smut that takes Kaz’s touch aversion into account.

- ALL: Everything Is the Same Except Some People Have Resurrecting Genitalia – Resurrecting sex is another one of my fave cracky AUs. (Although I also enjoy it taken deadly serious with all the trauma that fucking a corpse to resurrect it would bring.) Nina is the obvious choice, given her death powers at the end of the books, but it would also be very fun/traumatic for Kaz if he could fuck people back to life. Or maybe this is Jesper’s secret Grisha power!
- ALL: Genderswap to all female cast – I’m into both examinations of how male characters’ plotlines might be different if they’re women (Matthias would have the greatest difference, but although Ketterdam seems fairly gender-egalitarian I feel like a female Kaz might have a different public reputation), or just excuses to add more women and/or femslash to the cast. For art, I’m really into redesigns of what characters might look like as women in general.
- ALL: Pirate AU – I imprinted hard on pirates as a kid, and a criminal gang is a pretty easy transition to a pirate crew! You can set them in the existing Grishaverse world, move them somewhere more like our world’s past with no magic, or anything else you like, I just want swashbuckling.
- ALL: Weird West AU – as with the pirate AU, I just love Westerns and want to see our characters in this setting! You can keep the magic worldbuilding of canon or go with entirely different fantasy elements, translate the plot of the duology to the setting or go with a completely different plot (or just Vibes with no plot, that is also A+)
